Giving Back ~ Ending violence against women.

We love that we can give back to our community through this event!

Once all the fun is had, and the brides have shopped until they dropped we are so thankful and proud to be able to donate some of the leftover dresses and accessories to My Sister’s Closet, a local Vancouver thrift shop with locations in Yaletown and on Commercial Drive. Revenue generated from the sales of the clothing help fund violence prevention and intervention services operated by Battered Women’s Support Services which support over 11,000 women every year. Learn more about BWSS ~ Battered Women’s Support Services provides education, advocacy, and support services to assist all women in its aim to work towards the elimination of violence and to work from a feminist perspective that promotes equality for all women.
